I gave blood today. I would like to say I decided to give because I heard about the shortage of blood in Utah and how people couldn’t have their potentially life-saving surgeries or get into their car accidents or cut off any limbs because of the lack of “life essence.” However nice it would be to say I had others in mind when I signed up to give, it just wouldn’t be true. I really just wanted the cookies. Mmmmm…guilt free Oreos. If you give blood you NEED the Oreos. You must eat them. And don’t feel bad about it. So if you live in Utah you can go back to your reckless driving because there is some O positive blood just waiting for ya if you crash.
