Ok, Ok...London

Sorry already! Geesh. I have been dreading posting about London because of all the pictures and explanations you have to come up with to go along with them. But I just found this great picture tool! You can see the titles of all my pictures when you click on them.

Overall London was absolutely wonderful! I still can't believe I was actually there. We stayed with my Grandma and her husband Warren who are on a mission. Their flat has a beautiful view and they provided us with two meals a day, so we were able to enjoy free meals while looking out at a thriving city. (I owe you Grandma!) Right across the street from them they had a beautiful, old church with a bright red door. I loved it.

One of our favorite things was our day trip to Windsor. The castle there is huge and elaborate. Other favorites were Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. These were all owned by the Queen and they were the most expensive places to go! Isn't she rich enough already? We also couldn't take any pictures inside those places, so you don't get to see the crown jewels. Sorry.

Also, I dropped my camera when I was in the Tate Modern, so there are quite a few less pictures than there would be otherwise. Again Sorry! Stop yelling at me. Geesh.

Other favorites were: watching Mary Poppins in Soho, Hyde Park (although Speaker's Corner was empty!), minding the gap, museums galore, watching Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice at The Globe Theatre, and spending money like there's no tomorrow.

My sister leaves for London in about a week and I'm totally jealous.

Yay! I checked your website today and there's a new post! :) Ok, ok, I'll stop giving you a hard time. It's so neat that you were able to post all those pictures on your blog! I didn't know you could do it like that...great idea! It makes me even more excited to visit London (next week!)!

Thanks so much for posting photos...all of the people will get off your back now. It looks like you guys had an amazing time. Nothing like droping 2 US dollars for every single GP. EXPENSIVE! Glad you had a great time.

Tarcia,
I LOVE your London pictures! It looks like you two had so much fun. And sweet deal, staying with the Grandma and all. I'm totally jealous. I should send my parents on a mission to some exotic place, just so I could go visit them and have a place to stay. How does some island in the South Pacific sound, mom?
