April's Habit

March's habit has been great. Writing a list of things to do every night has helped me get things done around my house that never would have been done otherwise. (I forgot how far elbow grease can go in making a room look livable!) I did learn that sometimes I am more ambitious at 11 p.m. than I am when I wake up the next day. But I worked through it :)

Now on to introducing April's habit....drum roll is eating two fruits and three vegetables EVERYDAY. This is going to be hard! I hate vegetables! Ok, I just hate most vegetables. Currently the food groups at our house include:
  • bread
  • tortillas
  • cheese
  • cereal
  • tacos
This habit all came about because I'm trying to get in shape, and I've heard it is more important to focus on what you eat than on how much you work out. So wish me luck in this endeavor! I need it! (It is already 1:00 and all I've eaten is cereal and a banana. I still have one fruit and three veggies to go! Eek!)

P.S. I'm also going to be swimming three times a week this month with my sis-in-law Kelsey. I'm not counting this as a habit because I am only willing to commit to four weeks of swimming.

P.P.S. Is a potato a vegetable?

P.P.P.S. I'm counting tomatoes as vegetables even though they have been part of a fruit/veggie debate for years. But it doesn't matter because I hate them anyway, so I won't be eating them.

Seriously? You hate tomatoes? This is a sin--a very grevious sin. I'd literally whither up and die if I didn't get my daily tomato. It's one of my major food-groups, as is taco's. Good choice on that one.

I love this habit!! Although I am also disappointed in you not liking tomatoes. I just told Jared yesterday that tomatoes just might be my FAVORITE food ever!!
